Marcus has been with Horgans since 2018. His current passion is the colour green and he loves a good eye fillet. He brings elegant style and passion to everything he does. Inspired by Ralph Lauren, he loves working with our beautiful products and he truly values his wonderful customers. And loves his miniature schnauzer, Rupert.

Where did you grow up?

Melbourne’s South-Eastern suburbs.

What is your favourite dish to make/eat?

A good eye fillet is usually on high rotation in our house. Medium of course, well rested and mushroom sauce on the side thanks.

What is your favourite colour? 

I currently have a love affair with green - particularly olive green.

I have a phobia of umbrellas - other people using them is fine but don't make me touch one or use one.

When did you start working at Horgans? 

Just over 6 years ago – July 2018.

What do you enjoy most about working here?

I love working with a broad and wonderful customer base selling beautiful products.

Who is your style icon?

Easy. Ralph Lauren – both home and menswear.

Which two pieces of furniture are your favourite picks right now? And why??

The Ella Sofa is a favourite of mine as it’s such a beautiful and comfy sofa – it feels like it hugs you! The bonus of having removable covers is fantastic too. The Clio Bedside Table as it’s such a beautiful sleek design.

Which two homewares are your favourite picks right now? And why?

Our beautiful new 3D-printed Arisu Vase – it’s more than just a vase, it’s a standout piece that looks beautiful with or without flowers! The Helsi Dog is also a favourite of mine as it reminds me of my beautiful dog, Rupert – he has long legs too!

Which two lighting pieces are your favourite picks right now? And why?

The Fern Lamp – it’s a bit quirky and stylish and looks great in my home study. The Aiko Table Lamp as I love the colour and size of the base – I love a big table lamp.
