Jane joined Horgans in 2015. A fan of the colour green, Jane loves a tangy salad & all things seafood. She appreciates both classic & contemporary homewares, loves interior design & enjoys working at Horgans because of the beautiful products & inspiring customers she gets to meet.
Where did you grow up?
Canberra. Growing up in such a land-locked area, for my adult life I have chosen to live as close to the ocean as I can - I am drawn to it.
What is your favourite dish to make/eat?
Seafood and now that its warming up, tangy salads!
What is your favourite colour?
Green - all shades - all things!
Give us a funny, interesting, quirky fact about yourself...
I am left handed - like my Melbourne sales colleague. I am an avid and competitive paddler and for some reason keep getting selected for Jury Duty!
When did you start working at Horgans?
2015 - it has been such a journey of growth here - cant wait to see what the next 9 years holds.
What do you enjoy most about working here?
Meeting our inspiring customers and being surrounded by all the beautiful products on a daily basis and nothing is static. It really is evolutionary and never ever boring!
Who is your style icon?
That's a tough question as there are many but if I had to pick just one, I would say Diana Vreeland.
Which two pieces of furniture are your favourite picks right now? And why?
The Soho Sofa for its beautiful curves and sheer size and the Isobel Cabinet - its such a bold contemporary take on a classic display cabinet.
Which two homewares are your favourite picks right now? And why?
The new range of 3-D printed vases in Kaolin Ceramic - these amazing pieces have beautiful sculptural form but are also highly functional as vases. My second pick is the Sander Artwork for its ethereal softness and versatility.
Which two lighting pieces are your favourite picks right now? And why?
The Aiko Floor & Table Lamps - classic shapes but elevated to next level contemporary form and the Yuji Lamps - such beautifully fine parchment shades that equally contrast and compliment their strong industrial and geometric shaped base.
Your favourite quote would be?
"You need to work with what you have."

for something greater than ourselves.
